A SHARK WEEK special for Discovery Channel
JAWS STRIKES BACK makes history as shark experts Greg Skomal and Mauricio Hoyos and a team of engineers from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution embark on a mission to find out how Guadalupe’s great whites hunt giant elephant seals at depth. Using a robot-sub fitted with 6 cameras they follow 4 great whites; Deep Blue, Lupita, Johnny, and Kimil to depths of 320feet for the first time. As the sharks close in on Guadalupe’s elephant seal colonies, the robot-sub records first time behavior of how the sharks stalk and attack their prey at depth.

Jaws Strikes Back, tightly edited and legitimately suspenseful in the manner it’s constructed, is one of the best Shark Week shows I can immediately recall: it would almost be a must for those viewers seriously interested in the behavior of great white sharks. - Very Helpful Net
The footage they returned with is remarkable, the robotic pursuit proves the observation viability of the REMUS in future fieldwork. The SharkCam robot hunting attack bot remains an awesome use of time and money. - I Digital Times
