Miranda Richardson to narrate Turtles

Our cinema release, TURTLE – THE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY is nearing completion!   Based on the true story of a loggerhead turtle and its remarkable 20 year journey around the North Atlantic, the film has been in production for just over 18 months and is now looking and sounding truly magical.   Delivering in December 08, the film is narrated by twice Oscar nominated Miranda Richardson and written by Mel Finn (The Crimson Wing -Mystery of the Flamingos for Disney).    The film is currently in postproduction at award winning post house, Films of 59 in Bristol.   We’re also delighted to announce the support of the prestigious International non profit organization, The Save our Seas Foundation who are behind the film to help raise awareness for turtle conservation.  This has been a tremendous boost to the film, and the SOS team are now working with our marine consultant, Professor Jeanette Wyneken of the Florida State University to maximise turtle awareness.  The film all going well, will debut at the Berlin Film Festival in February 09.

TURTLE- THE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY is a Big Wave/ FAME production directed by Nick Stringer, and produced by Sarah Cunliffe and Mike Downey and Sam Taylor of FAME .   The film is coproduced with Tradewind Pictures in Germany and Allegro Films in Austria.   The sales agent is Sola Media.
