A powerful environmental film on the North Sea, Nature and Wind Farms

Out now on https://www.youtube.com/@BirdLifeEurope

Winds of Change, commissioned by Bird Life International, highlights the massive planned expansion of offshore wind power in the North Sea. We explore if solving one huge environmental problem will create lots of new ones? We all understand renewal energy is vital to meet our climate goals, and offshore wind is key. But does this present a huge challenge to the natural world? The North Sea is already one of the busiest and most exploited seas on the planet?

Leading scientists and environmentalists explores the risks of industrialisation and search for solutions in this important film. With contributions from leading offshore wind companies, the film looks at how organisations can work together – not just to avoid conflict with nature, but to help it recover.

The film is made in partnership with Tigervision and premiered at the Wind Europe Conference in Bilbao in June 2024
